                                              I really enjoyed reading your reflection. You powerfully gave voice to some pretty common concerns for teachers, especially new ones:

                                              When I was in high school I always wished my teachers gave us a quick introduction or glimpse we were about to read before just telling us to read a chapter before the following class.

                                              and

                                              I could of had more class participation and just called on people asking what they thought about the trailer. 

                                              As you continue to develop as a teacher candidate, you will find ways to make peace with these concerns. Being centered in what you are up to goes a long way.
