About myself and learning experience

I  remember practicing writing my name in cursive before even setting foot in a classroom when I was three years old (i was doing it wrong, but that not the point). I was a great student, I picked things up quick and was always the first to turn in my assignments. Nowadays I do not feel as smart, I have to reread things and sometimes I even have to google the spelling of a simple word. In my case technology did not help. I like books , highlighting, going from a worksheet to a book with a simple glance.  As I'm writing this text I'm thinking," am I answering the questions I was asked or am i off topic?" Im going to have to stop typing go back and look , then come back , then probably go back because now my baby needs a diaper change. I will be kind to myself and say its been a few years and things are very different than the last time I was in school, not only technology wise but also my personal life (I have two kinds now). I am not sure working at home will be the best option,I think I will try and leave the house for a few hours a day to complete my work. I might start printing out all the reading material for now, until I get used to the computer/tablet screen. I'm also considering buying a kindle. I think I will have to start my whole learning process techniques from scratch, but I'm excited and I know soon, and with lots of practice and organizing, I will be back to being that great learner I have been in the past.

      Yajaira,

I really enjoyed reading your post.

This really stuck out for me:

I would suggest that you keep in mind that you are about to take on a whole new career (and field, I presume). So try to stay open (and patient with yourself) as you figure out what works for you.
